Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and TRIMS (“TRIMS”, “we”, “us”) governing your access to and use of our link management platform, websites, APIs, and related services (the “Services”).

By creating an account, clicking “I agree”, or using the Services, you accept these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” refers to that organization.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to use the Services.

• Provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and all activity under your account.
• Enable two-factor authentication for sensitive workspaces; notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
• One person or entity may not maintain multiple free accounts to circumvent plan limits.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual cycle. Paddle acts as our Merchant of Record: they take the payment, issue the invoice, handle sales tax, and appear on your statement as the seller.

• Renewal — subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You authorize us to charge your payment method each cycle.
• Upgrades & downgrades — changes take effect immediately; upgrades are prorated, and downgrades apply credit to future cycles.
• Cancellation — cancel any time from billing settings; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Refunds — 30-day money-back guarantee — if you are not happy with a paid plan, contact us within 30 days of the charge and we will refund it in full, no questions asked. This covers your first payment on a plan; later renewals are not refundable, though you can cancel at any time to stop future charges. Nothing here limits refund rights you have under local consumer law.
• Taxes — prices exclude taxes, which are added where applicable.
• Price changes — we may change prices with at least 30 days' notice; changes apply at your next renewal.

If a payment fails we do not cut you off straight away. The payment is retried over roughly two weeks and your plan stays active throughout, so an expired card or a bank hold does not interrupt your work. If every retry fails the subscription ends and the workspace returns to the Free plan — your links keep redirecting either way.

You agree not to use the Services to create, host, or link to content or to engage in conduct that is illegal or harmful. Prohibited uses include:

• Phishing, malware, spyware, or deceptive links designed to defraud or harm.
• Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or evading anti-abuse systems.
• Content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, or that sexualizes minors.
• Harassment, hate speech, or incitement of violence.
• Cloaking links to disguise a malicious or policy-violating destination.
• Interfering with, overloading, or attempting to breach the Services or other users.
• Reverse engineering except to the extent permitted by applicable law.
• Reselling or white-labeling the Services except as expressly permitted by your plan.

You retain all rights to your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display your Content solely to operate and improve the Services (for example, to resolve redirects and render analytics).

You represent that you have the rights to your Content and that it does not violate these Terms or the rights of others. You are solely responsible for your Content and the destinations your links point to.

The Services, including all software, designs, text, and trademarks (such as the TRIMS name and logo), are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Services per these Terms.

Feedback you send us may be used without restriction or obligation to you.

If you use our API, you additionally agree to:

• Keep API tokens confidential and rotate them if exposed.
• Respect rate limits and back off when you receive a 429 response.
• Not use the API to replicate the Services or build a competing product.
• Comply with scopes; request only the permissions your integration needs.

We may change, deprecate, or version the API. We aim to give reasonable notice of breaking changes via the versioned path and changelog.

The Services integrate with third parties (e.g. payment, analytics, and marketing tools) and may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.

We work hard to keep the Services fast and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may perform maintenance and will aim to minimize disruption.

Support levels vary by plan: community/email on lower tiers, priority support on Business, and a dedicated success manager with an SLA on Premium.

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT ANALYTICS WILL BE COMPLETELY ACCURATE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRIMS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TRIMS from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your Content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or fail to pay.

On termination, your right to use the Services ends. We will make your data available for export for a limited period, after which it may be deleted per our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g. IP, disclaimers, liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will provide notice by email or in-app before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which TRIMS is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to resolve disputes in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law grants you rights to your local courts.
